Qualifications Required: Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare

Experience Required: Experience within children’s residential care and leadership experience within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home environment preferred

Working hours: Days only + On Call 1 in 4 weeks

The Home: This is an opportunity to join a new solo children’s home in Widnes, supporting the setup and development of a specialist residential service. The role would suit an experienced Deputy Manager, looking to progress into registration with support and development.

You will play a key role in helping establish and develop the home, supporting the implementation of strong practice standards, safeguarding, compliance, and positive outcomes for young people. The successful candidate will be passionate about children’s residential care and confident supporting a therapeutic and nurturing environment. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career with structured progression into registration.
