πŸ’· Salary: Β£15.00 – Β£16.50 per hour (DOE) + Β£58.40 per sleep-in
⏰ Hours: Minimum 37 hours per week

Potential Earnings:

  • Base Salary (37 hours per week): Β£28,860 – Β£31,740 per annum

  • 11 Sleep-Ins per month: Β£7,709 per annum

  • Potential Total Earnings: Β£36,569 – Β£39,449 per annum

The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader to join their established and supportive team in Middlesbrough.

This vacancy has arisen due to the home expanding from a solo placement to a two-bed service following the admission of an additional young person. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable service at an exciting stage of development and play a key role in supporting the home's continued growth.

The Home:

  • 2-bed Children's Home

  • Middlesbrough location

  • Supports young people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, trauma, and experiences of neglect

  • Rated Good by Ofsted

A significant strength of the service is the leadership team. The Registered Manager has over 10 years of residential childcare experience and is committed to driving the service towards an Outstanding Ofsted judgement in 2026.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

⭐ Level 3, Level 4 or Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
⭐ Full UK Driving Licence
⭐ Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children's home
⭐ Understanding of relevant residential childcare legislation and safeguarding requirements

Shift Pattern:

  • Day shifts

  • Night shifts

  • Sleep-ins

  • Weekend working as part of the rota

Additional Screening Criteria

Individuals with only CQC experience and/or who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
