The Opportunity

Your Role

  • Provide high-quality consistent care and support to children aged 7 to 17
  • Work closely with your team to create a nurturing safe and structured environment
  • Support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs
  • Promote positive routines, independence and emotional well-being
  • Be a positive role model and help young people thrive

Shift Pattern & Salary

  • Hours: 8am – 8pm shifts
  • Contract Options: 36, 40 or 48 hours per week
  • Hourly Rate: £14.50
  • Sleep-in Rate: £52 per night (overtime and additional shifts available)
  • Sleep-ins: £810 per month (as per rota)

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognised Level 3 qualification)
  • Experience working in residential childcare or a related field
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum age: 21 (in line with Ofsted requirements)
  • Experience supporting children with complex emotional needs
  • A calm, consistent and nurturing approach
