What You'll Be Doing
- Providing day-to-day care and emotional support
- Building positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Supporting education, activities and life skills
- Promoting positive behaviour using therapeutic approaches
- Completing daily records and safeguarding documentation
- Working closely with families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes
Pay & Working Pattern
Salary: Β£26,000 per annum (excluding sleep-in payments)
48-hour average working week
2 sleep-ins per week

What You'll Need
Essential- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People's Workforce Diploma (Social Care pathway)
- A Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care may be considered where substantial experience supporting children and young people can be demonstrated.
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally aged 22 or over (due to the nature of the role and insurance requirements)
- Previous experience working with children and young people, ideally within residential childcare or a similar setting supporting children with challenging behaviours
