Location: Rothbury, Northumberland (NE65)

Salary: £48,600 - £60,000 per annum

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. Flexibility required to work weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins when needed.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Sleep-ins: As required, paid at £75 per sleep-in

Service: Children's Residential Home

Service Users: Children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex health needs

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare (essential)
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management for Children and Young People's Workforce (or willingness to work towards)

Experience Required: Previous experience working with children and young people within a residential setting

The Home: Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Rothbury. Number of beds: 3-bed children's home

Who we are looking for: We are looking for a dedicated leader who can inspire a team and provide outstanding care and support for children and young people. The successful candidate will have:

  • Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
  • Experience working with children and young people in residential care settings
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • The ability to manage challenging situations with empathy, emotional intelligence and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
