Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Full-time

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young people with complex needs including CCE, high-risk behaviours, self-harm, and missing episodes, EBD, Mild LD

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Children's Residential role that has management duties (or strong Deputy ready to step up, salary adjusted accordingly)

The Home: This is a well-established and high-performing home currently graded Outstanding in all areas. The service is stable, with strong staffing structures and clear care planning in place. Number of beds: 2-bed home. Ofsted rating: Outstanding.

Who we are looking for: Our client is seeking a Registered Manager to take over a settled home with a strong foundation. You will be confident managing risk, experienced with complex behaviours, and capable of leading a team through both stable and high-risk placements. You will be comfortable overseeing:

  • A long-term placement transitioning towards semi-independence
  • A high-risk placement requiring structured support, including DOLS, 2:1 staffing, and waking nights
  • Ongoing staff reduction plans based on risk management and progress

Strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to maintain Outstanding standards are essential.
