Salary: Approx. £35,075 per annum including 11 sleep-ins per month
Hourly Rate: £14.67 per hour
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week

Experience Required: Experience within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home preferred
The Home: Our client’s home provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children and young people feel safe, valued, respected, and encouraged to grow. The team are highly supportive of one another and work collaboratively to help each other develop confidence and skills. The home currently supports one young person who has been in placement for 19 months and has built strong, positive relationships within the service. The focus is centred around emotional wellbeing, education, talents, and life skills development. The staff team are trained in therapeutic parenting and are experienced in supporting children with complex needs and behaviours. A wide range of specialist training is provided to ensure staff can meet individual needs effectively.
Who we are looking for: Our client is looking for a warm, patient, and resilient Residential Team Leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. You will be someone who can build positive relationships, provide emotional support, and create a safe and homely environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting young people with daily routines and activities
- Encouraging education, independence, and personal development
- Planning activities and experiences
- Supporting with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Maintaining accurate records and safeguarding practices
- Leading shifts and supporting the wider team
