The Home: A new children’s home supporting up to three children with learning disabilities, SEMH, and complex needs. The service will focus on providing a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment where children can develop, build relationships, and progress positively.
Who we are looking for: Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a new residential home supporting children with learning disabilities and complex needs. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the home including staffing, compliance, safeguarding, and care planning. You will be responsible for ensuring the service meets Ofsted requirements while delivering high-quality, child-centred care. The role requires a strong leader who can mentor and develop staff, ensure continuity of care, and create a stable, supportive environment for children and young people. You will also maintain quality monitoring systems, ensure accurate documentation and reporting, and foster strong relationships with children, families, and multi-agency professionals.
