Hours: Various on 36-hour or 48-hour contract
Salary: £27,144 - £36,192 base 8-10 sleep-ins/month (£52 per sleep)
Potential take-home: Up to £41,184 per annum
About the Role
Are you an experienced Residential Support Worker looking to take the next step in your career? Or are you already a Senior Practitioner seeking a new challenge? As a Senior Childcare Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD). You will be a role model, mentor, and key worker, ensuring the best possible care and outcomes for the children. What We’re Looking For
- Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent – see below) or enrolled on.
- Experience working with children in residential care or similar settings
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours and create a nurturing environment
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Fluency in English (with the ability to understand UK dialects)
Alternative Qualifications Considered:
If you hold a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care, we will consider your application if you can demonstrate experience working with children and or YPs.
