The Service
- Join a high-quality children’s residential home supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD), often shaped by experiences of trauma, neglect, CSE, CCE, and PSB.
- Homes range from 2–3 beds
- High staffing ratios – typically 1:1
- Services span Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire, St Helens, and Scotland
- Ofsted ratings vary, with ongoing focus on continuous improvement
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children’s home. You’ll champion a nurturing, safe, and structured environment where young people can thrive. You’ll be a confident leader with strong safeguarding knowledge, capable of embedding therapeutic practices and motivating teams.
To be considered, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential home (within the last 5 years)
- At least 1 year’s experience in a supervisory or leadership role (within the last 5 years)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (England) or SCQF Level 10 (Scotland), or be willing to work towards it
- Applicants with only CQC experience or without Ofsted‑regulated children’s home experience cannot be considered
