Who we are looking for…
- A Deputy Manager who can support the Home Manager in all aspects of running the home, including:
- Compliance, safeguarding, and quality assurance
- Financial planning and resource management
- Leading and inspiring a team, including staff supervision, appraisal, and professional development
- Managing the home in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Maintaining a safe, homely environment and high standards of care
- Health & safety management, risk assessments, and training compliance
- Liaising with professionals and contributing to care planning
You must have:
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce Qualification
- At least 1 year experience as a Senior Residential Care Worker in a Children’s Home
- Ability to be a great role model to looked after children
- Strong leadership, team management skills, and ability to build trusting relationships
- Genuine care and compassion for looked after children
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays
