Location: Sunderland
Salary: £48,600 – £57,712.50 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Flexibility is required to work weekends, bank holidays and sleepovers when needed.
Employment Type: Permanent
Sleep‑ins: Sleep‑ins may be required and are paid at £75 per sleep‑in.
Service: Children's Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex health needs.
Qualifications Required:
- Level 3 or Level 4 in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Experience Required:
- Previous experience working with children and young people within a residential children's home.
- Strong leadership, organisational and administrative skills.

- A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and willingness to obtain business insurance.

- Emotional intelligence, empathy and the ability to confidently manage challenging situations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
