Salary Options
- Option 1 – Shift-Based Deputy Manager

The Home
This 3-bed Ofsted-rated Good children's home supports young people with significant and complex mental health needs, including EBD, autism, self‑harm presentations, and suicide risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in day‑to‑day leadership of the home and assume operational responsibility in their absence.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and practical experience in care planning, case management, staff supervisions, Regulation 44 reporting, risk assessments, education planning, working with multidisciplinary teams, acting as key worker for young people, and understanding children's home legislation.
- Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and positive outcomes for young people.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within an Ofsted Registered Children’s Residential Home.
- Experience supporting young people with EBD, autism, or complex mental health needs.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Strong leadership capability with experience supporting or supervising teams.
- Confident in managing compliance, care planning, and operational standards.
