The predicted salary is between 15.75 - 15.75 Β£ per hour.

Location: Leicester (LE6)

Salary & Package:

  • Annual Salary: Β£35,640 per annum (including approximately 10 sleep-ins per month)
  • Base Salary: Β£30,240 per annum
  • Sleep-in Payments: Approximately Β£5,400 per annum (10 sleep-ins per month at Β£45 each)
  • Hourly Rate: Β£15.75 per hour + Β£5.00 per hour (additional rate where applicable)
  • Sleep-in Rate: Β£45 per sleep
  • Working Hours: 160 hours per month
  • Employment Type: Permanent

Service:

  • Service: Children's Residential Home
  • Service Users: Children and Young People aged 8–17 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required:

  • Level 3 Children's & Young People's Workforce

Experience Required:

  • Previous experience working within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home.

The Home:

This is a 4-bed Children's Residential Home providing care and support for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

We are looking for experienced, resilient and compassionate Senior Residential Care Workers who are passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. You will be confident leading shifts, supporting colleagues, building positive relationships with young people, and providing consistent, therapeutic care within a structured residential environment. You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home while helping young people develop confidence, resilience and independence.

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
  • You only hold a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (this is not deemed equivalent).
  • You have only worked within Healthcare, NHS, CQC services or Nursery settings.
  • You require sponsorship to work in the UK.
  • Individuals with only CQC experience and/or who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
