The Home: This is a 4-bed children's residential home in Derby, supporting young people aged 8–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The home provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment with a strong focus on safeguarding, consistency, and positive outcomes.

Who we are looking for: We are seeking a confident and supportive Deputy Manager to work closely with the Registered Manager and help lead the home day‑to‑day.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Registered Manager with the smooth running of the home
- Leading shifts and modelling high standards of care and safeguarding practice
- Mentoring, coaching, and supervising staff to ensure consistent delivery
- Supporting care planning, risk management, key work, and placement stability
- Maintaining accurate recording and contributing to inspection readiness
- Building a positive culture where young people feel safe, listened to, and supported
Experience Required: Experience within an Ofsted-registered children's residential home and a strong understanding of safeguarding and residential childcare practice.
