This is a new 3-bed assessment home supporting children aged 8–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The service focuses on providing structured, high-quality assessments to inform future placements, requiring consistency, resilience, and strong professional practice.
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Care Worker to support the day-to-day running of the home. You will play a key role in delivering structured care, supporting assessments, and acting as a positive role model for young people. You will work closely with the management team to maintain high standards of care, ensure safeguarding practices are upheld, and contribute to a stable and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce
Experience Required: Experience within Children’s Residential, Mental Health or Secure Unit settings

Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of £15.75 per hour. Overtime paid at an additional £5 per hour. Sleep-in payments of £65 per sleep.
Eligibility Criteria: You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car. You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent). Candidates with only HealthCare, NHS, CQC, or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered. You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available. Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
