Salary: £27,144 (36‑hour contract) OR £36,192 (48‑hour contract) + sleep‑in payments
Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on contracted hours
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Condensed shifts of two days on, four days off
Employment Type: Permanent
Sleep‑ins: Approx. 6 to 8 sleep‑ins per month included in rota, paid at £52 per sleep
Service: Children’s Residential Home
Service Users: Children and young people aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties
Qualifications Required:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma (social care pathway).
- Level 3 Adult Social Care may be considered where direct children’s residential experience can be demonstrated.
Experience Required:
- Experience within Residential Children’s Services or a similar setting supporting children with challenging behaviours.
