Job Title: Registered Manager


Location: Coventry, West Midlands


Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on skills, qualifications and experience), plus a £7,500 welcome bonus


Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week


Employment Type: Permanent, full-time


Service: Children's Home


Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce, and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to undertake this as part of the role). Full UK driving licence.


Experience Required: Extensive experience in children's residential care management. Experience in an LD/EBD home is desirable.

  • ensure compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and deliver high-quality care

  • lead and inspire a motivated team

  • manage budgets, resources and the home environment

  • safeguard young people, liaising with professionals to achieve positive outcomes

  • drive continuous improvement and make sure the home's Statement of Purpose is fulfilled


You will bring a strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures. You will also need excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, and a real commitment to a nurturing, empowering environment.
