Location: Chorley

Salary & Pay: £38,636 per annum (based on rota and sleep‑ins), £16 per hour

Working Hours & Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off (condensed shifts), Permanent Employment, Sleep-ins approx. 10 per month at £65 per sleep

Service Information: Children’s Residential Home for Children & Young People aged 7–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Experience Required: Experience within a children’s residential setting, supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours

About The Home: A 4-bed children’s home providing care and support to young people with EBD. The service focuses on creating stability, structure, and positive outcomes for children who have experienced trauma and adversity.

Who We Are Looking For: A confident and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or an ambitious Residential Support Worker ready to step up into a Team Leader role. You will be comfortable leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding.

  • You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent).

  • You require sponsorship – no sponsorship available.
  • Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.
