Salary: £51,500 – £56,000 per annum + £7,500 welcome bonus

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People (YPs), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

Qualifications Required: NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce; QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Children’s Services (or willingness to undertake)

Experience Required: Extensive experience in children’s residential care management

Who we are looking for… You will lead a motivated team to deliver high-quality, nurturing care for young people, ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations. You will:

  • Safeguard young people and work collaboratively with professionals
  • Lead continuous improvement and ensure the home’s statement of purpose is achieved
  • Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment
  • Inspire and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for young people

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in children’s residential care management
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Note: This is a Registered Manager role, so the earlier Residential Support Worker-specific restrictions do not apply.
