Qualifications Required: NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce; QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Children’s Services (or willingness to undertake)
Experience Required: Extensive experience in children’s residential care management

- Manage a safe, supportive, and warm home environment
- Safeguard young people and work collaboratively with professionals
- Lead continuous improvement and ensure the home’s statement of purpose is achieved
- Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment
- Inspire and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for young people
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in children’s residential care management
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Commitment to providing a nurturing and empowering environment
- Full UK driving licence
Note: This is a Registered Manager role, so the earlier Residential Support Worker-specific restrictions do not apply.
