You won’t simply provide pastoral support; you will:
- Act as a key safeguarding presence within the UTC, supporting and deputising for the DSL
- Respond to concerns with professionalism, care, and a clear understanding of procedures
- Build trusted relationships with students, enabling them to feel safe, heard, and supported
- Work closely with families, staff, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes
- Deliver targeted interventions to strengthen emotional wellbeing, resilience, and self-regulation
