Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £23,868 pa

Location: Cambridge

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday 9-5

Role overview:

  • Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs.
  • Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff.
  • Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records.
  • Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as fast food restaurants or food manufacturing.
  • No previous lab experience or degree is required!
  • Experience in working with food and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.
  • Proactive approach to learning and development.
