This individual will effectively lead and develop new and existing employees in the manufacturing area. They will be responsible for training employees and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, with an emphasis on safety and product quality. They will assess individual and departmental performance and develop plans for change and/or improvement when needed. The supervisor will oversee daily operations of the assigned building/areas and ensure that products and parts are completed in a timely manner to meet production goals.
High School diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate’s degree preferred. Forklift certification preferred. The individual should have strong communication skills, product knowledge, as well as the ability to read prints and shop orders. They should be a self-starter and possess strong leadership skills. The ability to multitask and prioritise is essential. Confidentiality and professionalism are required, as the position will deal with employee issues and other Human Resources-related matters that arise.
