Halesowen College is seeking new Governors to join its ambitious and values-driven Corporation Board. Serving over 7,000 learners across the Black Country and Birmingham, the College has experienced rapid growth and plays a vital role in supporting local communities. The College is undergoing significant transformation, and incoming Governors will help steer strategic priorities, including managing growth, preparing for Ofsted, improving attendance, and delivering on capital development plans. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a large, inclusive college committed to raising aspirations and meeting regional skills needs.
The Board is recruiting to the following roles:
- Finance & Resources Committee Member – a qualified or part-qualified finance or audit professional to support financial resilience and governance.
- Personnel Committee Member – a senior HR or employment law expert (ideally CIPD qualified) to guide strategic workforce planning and transformation.
- Students, Curriculum & Quality Committee Member – a senior FE professional with curriculum leadership experience to oversee educational performance and quality.
