How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm… This role is all about the maintenance of the pressure reduction equipment and safety devices at the gas installations across the Northern Ireland gas network. You will receive full training for the job, and your day to day will involve:
- Completing routine maintenance checks
- Responding to faults on the network
- Getting involved in construction and repair projects
- Continued checks on corrosion of pipework and equipment
- Providing reports where necessary
What you’ll need:
- High enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- A logical approach to fault finding and problem solving
- An interest in engineering and the energy industry
- Highly motivated, organised and able to work well to target and deadlines
- Able to think on your feet whilst always being safety aware
- Interested in developing your career within the gas network industry
- A technical, practical aptitude is desirable along with IT literacy, a responsible approach to health & safety and great communication skills
- A full clean driving license or working towards your license
