As Construction South Project Manager, you’ll step into a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same. You’ll lead teams, tackle challenges on the ground, and keep our projects running safely, efficiently, and with real impact. If you enjoy taking ownership, working closely with people, and seeing the results of your work out in the real world, this role is where you’ll make a difference. Here’s how you will contribute…
- Ensuring projects are completed in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner.
- Ensuring our frontline engineers are working in line with company policies and procedures through audits.
- Managing both SGN employees and contractors across the Construction projects.
- Attending planning meetings, such as those with Highway Authorities, and coordination meetings.
- Satisfying the needs of all customers and stakeholders.
- Undertaking standby duties as necessary (with appropriate training provided).
What You Will Need
- Demonstrable team leadership, managerial, coaching, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ideally 2 years’ experience working within a similar industry, with knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Effective communicators at all levels and being able to successfully engage with all stakeholders, customers, contractors and your own team.
- Flexibility with a ‘can do’ enthusiastic approach and strive to outperform targets.
- The candidate must have a flexible approach to work and hold a full and valid driving license.
