How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm by…
- Maintaining a full technical knowledge of the reinstatement process and code of practice
- Ensuring projects are completed in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner
- Work with contractors to ensure they carry out works to a high standard
- Ensuring performance levels are maintained at the highest levels and meet operational targets, and that SGNs’ interests are maintained at all times.
- Ensuring effective and safe management of contractors across operational activities, primarily Reinstatement
- Reporting on compliance to legislation and code of practice
- Satisfying the needs of all customers and stakeholders
- Approving contractor’s applications for payment
- Carry out quality audits to ensure high levels of safety at all times
What You’ll Need
- We’re looking for a blend of skills and attributes that make you a great fit for this role. If you don’t tick every box, don’t worry – we provide tailored learning and development programs to help you grow and succeed with us.
- The ideal candidate will have a NRSWA (New Road and Street Works Act) certification.
- Demonstratable team leadership and performance management skills
- Effective communicator able to engage with customers and contractors with excellent customer service skills
- Full technical knowledge of the reinstatement process and code of practice is advantageous
- A full, clean driving license and the ability to travel across the North Construction operating region (Aldershot – Oxford) is essential
