How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm by…

  • Maintaining a full technical knowledge of the reinstatement process and code of practice
  • Ensuring projects are completed in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner
  • Work with contractors to ensure they carry out works to a high standard
  • Ensuring performance levels are maintained at the highest levels and meet operational targets, and that SGNs’ interests are maintained at all times.
  • Ensuring effective and safe management of contractors across operational activities, primarily Reinstatement
  • Reporting on compliance to legislation and code of practice
  • Satisfying the needs of all customers and stakeholders
  • Approving contractor’s applications for payment
  • Carry out quality audits to ensure high levels of safety at all times

What You’ll Need

  • We’re looking for a blend of skills and attributes that make you a great fit for this role. If you don’t tick every box, don’t worry – we provide tailored learning and development programs to help you grow and succeed with us.
  • The ideal candidate will have a NRSWA (New Road and Street Works Act) certification.
  • Demonstratable team leadership and performance management skills
  • Effective communicator able to engage with customers and contractors with excellent customer service skills
  • Full technical knowledge of the reinstatement process and code of practice is advantageous
  • A full, clean driving license and the ability to travel across the North Construction operating region (Aldershot – Oxford) is essential
