We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR professional to join our team as a People Partner. This role is key in fostering a positive employee relations climate, providing expert advice to managers, and driving initiatives that improve employee engagement and business performance. The successful candidate will support organisational restructuring, lead on employee relations cases, deliver training and coaching to reduce future issues, contribute to process improvement and People projects. This role will provide vital support to the Strategic People Business Partners, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives.

- Employee Relations & Case Management: Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinaries, performance, and absence management, escalating complex cases as needed. Advise managers on HR policies and legal compliance. Support investigations and hearings, ensuring fairness and proper documentation. Proactively reduce case volume through early intervention and coaching.
- Manager Training & Coaching: Develop and deliver HR training for managers on performance and absence management. Equip managers with skills to handle employee relations issues and foster a positive work environment.
- Organisational Restructuring & Change Management: Provide support during restructuring, including data, documentation, and meeting coordination. Assist with redundancy processes, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. Maintain accurate records of restructuring activities.
- Data & Reporting: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain employee records. Prepare HR reports and provide insights to the Strategic People Business Partner.
- HR Projects & Process Improvement: Use data to identify and implement actions that address people issues and drive performance. Lead ad hoc HR projects to improve policies, processes, and employee experience. Identify areas for HR operations improvement, aligning with business goals. Collaborate with teams to enhance HR service delivery and implement best practices. Support the implementation of new HR systems and technologies.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in HR Advisor, Employee Relations Specialist, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience managing employee relations cases and advising senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in operational HR issues.
- Ability to develop and deliver manager training and coaching.
- Experience with organisational change, restructuring, and redundancy processes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware and highly numerate.
- Resilient, able to manage uncertainty and shifting priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
