We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here’s how you will contribute:

  • Program and monitor projects submitted as part of SGN’s Mains Replacement (REPEX) programme. Managing an accurate and dynamic programme of construction works is part of this responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with NRSWA and manage opening notices appropriately.
  • Prepare financial information for each individual project, which includes raising and closing projects financially and managing project databases.
  • The role encompasses the 'Gatekeeper' function, management responsibility for CDM and RCA activities, and the accurate and timely control and submission of digital records for the depot.
  • The role requires consulting and liaising with SGN operations, local authorities, and our contracting partners to ensure a robust programme is delivered and complies with T(S)A.
  • Support with Traffic Management functions within the region.

  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • A good understanding of the distribution network, and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Computer literacy and a proactive approach to business challenges.
  • Demonstrating self-motivation, you can work on your own initiative or as a member of a team to achieve the required business results.
  • The post requires a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake other tasks and work in different locations as needed.
  • A full and valid driving licence is essential.
