Storekeeper (12-months FTC) Brighouse Bay Compressor Station, Kirkcudbright, Dumfries & Galloway (DG6 4TR)
£28.2k - £31.3k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

Responsibilities
- Working as part of the Operations, Stores and Logistics Team supporting a busy operational depot
- Taking delivery of materials, plant and equipment (forklift training will be required if needed)
- Operating safely within stores
- Taking responsibility for waste streams at the depot
- Keeping stores tidy and organised
- Assisting site operations technicians with tooling requirements and provision of lifting equipment
What You Will Need
- A flexible attitude to work, and willingness to take on new skills in order to develop a career in the gas industry.
- Communicative and interpersonal skills, including the ability to converse with members of the public.
- Some experience or aptitude in the use of smartphones/tablets/computers will be required.
- Some knowledge of the gas industry would be an advantage but not essential.
- Able to arrange travel to and from the depot.
- Preferred to have a forklift licence, but not essential as training can be provided.
- The successful candidate would ideally have knowledge of an operations environment in terms of knowing what is required for different jobs.
