As an Engineering Policy Manager, you will be responsible for setting and monitoring technical policies and standards across SGN’s gas distribution business. This role includes:
- Ensuring technical policies, procedures and specifications remain fit for purpose;
- Reviewing and implementing best practice and suggestions for business improvement;
- Approval of new products for use on the gas network;
- Coordination of field trials;
- Participating in and influencing relevant industry forums.

- Asset or operational management knowledge and experience of Gas Transmission & Plant
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to interpret technical requirements and communicate them so they can be understood and implemented by others.
- You will be an incorporated or chartered Engineer, or willing to work towards this.
- Able to carry out impact and risk assessments.
