Salary: £44.4k - £55.5k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

The objective of this role is to represent Evolve’s interests with key stakeholders including the Department for Economy, Utility Regulator, CCNI, other government departments, network operators and gas suppliers. We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the continued development of broader strategic energy transition decisions, establishing an Evolve position and communicating clearly internally and externally.
- Collaborating with other network operators on energy strategy funded projects and leading on energy strategy projects when appropriate.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of decarbonisation policies and procedures.
- Define an Evolve position in consultation with internal process stakeholders and communicating it where necessary to internal policy stakeholders.
- Lead on Evolve’s responses to key stakeholder energy transition requests e.g. Public consultations, Call for Evidence, Requests for Information.
- Stay informed about best practice for key energy strategy projects including attending conferences, reading industry publications, and collaborating with other professionals in the field.
- Engage with other areas of the business to communicate changes and input to strategic decision making.
- Present analysis and research relating to all areas of Energy Transition in Northern Ireland to the Evolve Senior Management.
