We are looking for.... The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for defining and executing SGN's IT, digital, and data strategy to ensure operational excellence, cybersecurity resilience, and regulatory compliance. The CIO leads technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, data governance, and cybersecurity to drive innovation, efficiency, and safety across SGN's gas distribution networks.

- IT & Digital Strategy: Develop and implement SGN's IT and digital strategy to optimise infrastructure and support business transformation.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Lead the development of robust cybersecurity frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Data Governance & Analytics: Establish data governance strategies and leverage analytics to enhance decision-making, with a focus on predictive safety.
- IT Investment & Vendor Management: Oversee technology procurement, vendor relationships, and evaluate emerging technologies to drive safety and efficiency.
- IT Governance & Compliance: Ensure alignment with regulatory standards, particularly in safety-critical IT and operational technology security.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Lead a high-performing IT organisation, collaborating with various business units to align IT with SGN's safety and business objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage SGN's enterprise technology estate, ensuring resilience and security.
- Implement enterprise-wide data governance and analytics, ensuring data integrity.
- Lead IT projects, ensuring alignment with OFGEM security standards and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee multi-year IT budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness in delivery while supporting safety initiatives.
