Horley | £35.9k - £44.4k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

Full-Time | Hybrid

Reporting to the Network and Infrastructure Manager, the IT Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for oversight of SGN networking infrastructure ensuring that offices, remote workers, cloud datacentres and phone systems stay seamlessly connected and secure. We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission.

Here’s how you will contribute…

  • Operate, monitor and fine tune alerting systems within SGN’s Cloud environment with a view to reducing false positives and streamlining alerts.
  • Work alongside the Network, Cloud & Comms specialist functions with performing BAU, project change and documentation.
  • Proactively learn the SGN infrastructure, Cloud and Physical infrastructure to SME level.
  • Work alongside other team members, assist and supply cover/support where needed.
  • Act as an advisory consultant in selected key fields to SGN’s internal customers.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of infrastructure services in the event of incident declaration.
  • Assist operations teams in their understanding of SGN’s infrastructure environment.

What you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience of setup and configuration of enterprise estate monitoring such as Cloudwatch, Logic Monitor etc.
  • Good experience working with corporate enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience of working with Firewalls, Cloud technologies and Enterprise networks.
  • Experience of working as part of a team, delivering IT infrastructure projects.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Assertive and driven.
  • Good at building rapport and influencing at all levels.
  • High energy and a desire to succeed.
