As Head of Green Gas Solutions, you'll lead a growing part of our business at the forefront of biomethane and renewable gas, helping to shape innovative projects that support our net-zero ambitions and create long-term value for customers and stakeholders.
The UK can deliver a significant increase in its biomethane injection to the gas grid and SGN plans to be at the forefront of this sector. Here’s how you will contribute…
Lead and grow a market-leading Biomethane & Green Gas Solutions business with full responsibility for strategy, commercial performance, safety and operational delivery.
Drive the expansion of renewable gas and low-carbon energy solutions, helping deliver the UK's decarbonisation ambitions.
Own and develop a portfolio of complex biomethane and green gas projects valued between £10m-£20m.
Shape business growth by identifying new market opportunities, strategic partnerships and innovative service offerings.
Lead, coach and inspire a multidisciplinary team of around 20 professionals across multiple locations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, developers, utilities, investors, contractors and industry partners.
Oversee projects throughout the asset lifecycle, from feasibility and design through to construction, commissioning and ongoing operations.
Take accountability for revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting and long-term business planning.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance, technical assurance and risk management remain at the heart of delivery.
Represent the business at a senior level, influencing stakeholders and strengthening market presence across the renewable energy sector.
