London, hybrid working - at least one day per week on‑site.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Building scalable backend services and platform components using Go and other modern technologies
- Designing and developing cloud‑native applications and distributed systems
- Creating reusable engineering blueprints and developer platforms
- Driving best practices around software architecture, security and platform engineering
- Working with Kubernetes and containerized environments at scale
- Helping shape the adoption of Generative AI and LLM technologies within a highly regulated environment
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders, architects and engineering teams across a global organisation
- Influencing technical strategy and engineering standards
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang)
- Experience building distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerisation technologies
- Strong cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
- Exposure to platform engineering, developer tooling or internal platforms
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions
- Working experience with Terraform in IaC, CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Exposure to (or commercial experience with) AI, Machine Learning or Large Language Model (LLM) platforms
