Working in a business-facing, high-visibility environment, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders and end users to evolve and refine an existing investment and research platform as needs change. You’ll take ownership of your work across the full software development lifecycle, applying sound engineering practices and thoughtful design patterns along the way.
You’ll also enjoy sharing knowledge—coaching and supporting more junior engineers, and helping maintain high standards through collaboration and best practice.
You’ll bring strong hands-on experience with React in an enterprise setting, including familiarity with the wider ecosystem of libraries and tools used for state management, data visualisation, testing, code quality, and build processes. You’ll be confident working with modern APIs such as REST, WebSockets, and GraphQL, and have a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals like scope, closures, and function binding.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, AppSync, and CloudFront will be a plus, as will creative and analytical thinking when solving problems. An eye for UX and design—whether sketching ideas, prototyping, or clearly communicating concepts—will help you work effectively with business stakeholders.
Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments is helpful but not essential; curiosity, ownership, and a desire to build great software matter most.
