SGF Global is recruiting a Product Manager on behalf of a leading communications technology company.
Location: Slough, United Kingdom
Reporting To: General Manager
Role Overview:
- The Product Manager will serve as a central point of coordination between the HQ Product team and local Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Service teams.
- The role ensures that products, features, and solutions are effectively positioned, launched, and adopted within the local market.
- Act as a key communication bridge between the HQ Product team and local Sales, Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Service teams, ensuring teams have access to appropriate product materials.
- Lead and deliver product training for local staff and channel partners.
- Define and drive rollout plans for new products, as well as feature and functionality updates across the Hytera products and services portfolio, managing the full product lifecycle.
- Justify and prioritise product and system roadmaps in collaboration with HQ Product Management, ensuring product delivery processes are successfully followed.
- Work closely with HQ to adapt product features and value propositions to the local market, supporting the successful adoption of new solutions.
- Prepare and deliver market analysis and presentations covering local product trends, value propositions, and competitor information, liaising with HQ Product and local Marketing teams.
- Act as the product and technical lead for the creation of marketing collateral, including presentations, web content, sales tools, datasheets, brochures, and training materials.
- Lead the Product Management function for the local subsidiary.
- Travel within Europe as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant experience across all aspects of Product Management within a high‑tech data communications or technology‑driven environment.
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of networking technologies and network applications.
- Good understanding of commercial models, pricing strategies, and market development techniques.
- Experience working with project management processes and methodologies.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to prioritise workloads effectively.
