A metal Fabricator Welder sought to join the team at SGE (SEAL) LTD near Sevenoaks – an enthusiastic and motivated person with experience in fabricating steelwork. Previous projects included architectural steel items such as balustrades, Juliet balconies, staircases, gates and railings, alongside beam & column fabrication for local building firms. The role of Fabricator Welder would suit a reliable person who takes pride in their work, able to work well within the existing team and on own initiative at times. In addition, this role could suit full or part-time Monday to Friday. Your day-to-day responsibilities would be: Fabricate and assembly of metal structures. Maintain a safe, clean and organised workspace. Finished products are of good quality and adhere to standards. Maintaining all equipment and tools in good working order. Occasional steel deliveries and installations. Skills, experience and abilities required of a Fabricator Welder: Proficient in stick, MIG welding and oxy cutting equipment to a high standard. TIG welding would be a bonus. Experience welding non-ferrous metals useful but not essential. comfortably read and interpret technical/engineering drawings to determine project specifications. Ability to use power tools efficiently. Basis mathematical skills for measurements and calculations. Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance. Additional information: Competitive salary – dependant on experience. Annual paid holiday – dependant on hours worked. Company Sick pay after qualifying probation period. Opt-in Pension scheme. Specialist tools and hand tools. Role-specific company clothing and footwear. Driving licence required for occasional use of Company vehicle for steel deliveries and installations.
