SG Weighing & Controls Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our expanding service operations. You will be responsible for the service, calibration, testing, repair, and installation of weighing and related equipment. This role is field-based, requiring travel to customer premises and other sites. Alongside technical duties, you will ensure the accurate completion of service reports and certification paperwork while maintaining exceptional customer service and compliance standards.

Location: Somerset (office). Customer sites are UK wide but majority in South West England.

Benefits: Company van, door to door pay, variable/flexible working hours, industry training, NEST Pension.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Background in engineering or service, ideally involving weighing, calibration, or electro-mechanical equipment (comprehensive training on weighing procedures will be provided).
  • Communication: Commercially aware and confident discussing requirements and solutions with customers.
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, IT literate, and highly professional with a customer-focused approach. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • License: Full UK driving licence (a company van will be provided).
