We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team and help drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
Supporting and monitoring the quality performance of the assigned production department in ongoing quality activities and improvements
Responding to and coordinating customer queries and concerns with both internal teams and external customers
Leading small teams in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities to develop core documentation such as GR&R, control plans, flow diagrams and FMEA's
Completing customer sample submissions and PPAP to a high technical standard
Managing product and process changes, ensuring quality requirements are fully assessed and implemented effectively.
Required Skills and Experience
At least three years' experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment (ideally Automotive)
A good understanding of change management principles and their application within manufacturing.
Proven experience using core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.
Experience producing and maintaining quality documentation such as FMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Knowledge of precision measurement techniques and inspection methods
