SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.
We are looking for a Production Manager to lead a segment our manufacturing team and take our production systems to the next level.
Responsibilities will include:
Being the advocate for Safety First.
Motivating and mentoring team members
Being responsible for the quality of product made during the shift and supporting quality improvements or containment activities
Having an active role in the companys continuous improvement plan to enable future growth of the business
Tracking and reporting on KPIs for area of responsibility, maintaining visual management boards and making improvement recommendations based on data
Ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
Required Skills:
Experience in a supervisory or managerial role gained within a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of managing, encouraging, and developing teams
An understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles within a busy manufacturing environment
Work pattern:
Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm;
After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9 day fortnight.
