SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA. We are looking for an experienced machining, pressing and advance measurement technicians with manufacturing experience and attention to detail to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and making a real impact on the shop floor.
Responsibilities will include:
- Loading and running machines
- Conducting tool change-overs and setting high tonnage multi-level presses to press parts to established tolerances, cycle times and quality standards
- Testing and measuring selected samples so that the physical properties of parts can be monitored
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent standard of English and Maths both verbally and written
- Capable of understanding and working to process and manufacturing instructions and specifications and to quality standards
- Ability to work as part of a team and liaise with personnel at all levels
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Well organised, self-disciplined, methodical and thorough in their approach
Work patterns:
- Rotating 12 hours shift pattern
- Rotating 8 hours shift pattern
