SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high-end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.
We are looking for a Production Manager to lead a segment of our manufacturing team and take our production systems to the next level.
Responsibilities will include:
- Being the advocate for Safety First.
- Motivating and mentoring team members.
- Being responsible for the quality of product made during the shift and supporting quality improvements or containment activities.
- Having an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to enable future growth of the business.
- Tracking and reporting on KPIs for area of responsibility, maintaining visual management boards and making improvement recommendations based on data.
- Ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs.
Required Skills:
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of managing, encouraging, and developing teams.
- An understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles within a busy manufacturing environment.
Work pattern:
Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am - 2.30pm; After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9 day fortnight.
