Quality Technician in Gateshead

Overview

SG Personnel are working with an established manufacturing business, based in Gateshead, who are looking to recruit a Quality Technician, to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Liaising directly with all customers
• Complete detailed product and process audits in line with IATF16949
• Assist in the training of personnel in aspects of business processes
• Conduct periodic capability studies, MSA and calibration
• Carry out inspections where required, including routine testing
• Support engineering activities, including assembly drawing translations

Qualifications

• Computer literate; Microsoft skills
• Auditor and problem solving skills
• A current driving license
• Experience of cosmetic panel manufacturing processes
• Understand customer drawings and specifications
• Quality, Engineering and tooling skills

Desired Skills and Experience

• IATF16949 Auditor qualification
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within automotive
• Assembly and Jig making skills

Working Hours

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-4.30pm. Friday, 7.30am-12.30pm.

Salary

The annual salary is up to £30,000, dependent upon experience.
