We are working with a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary building services business to recruit a Management Accountant during an exciting phase of expansion.
The business has grown rapidly to become a nationwide provider of building services, and continued investment in new regional offices, an expanding service offering and a growing customer base has created the need to strengthen its finance function.
This is a broad and hands-on Management Accountant role, offering exposure across multiple group entities and the opportunity to work closely with senior finance leaders in a business where finance plays a key role in supporting commercial growth and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Management Accounting
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist with profit and loss analysis, investigating variances and resolving queries.
- Produce financial information for board reporting and external stakeholders.
- Support month-end close activities across multiple business entities.
- Balance Sheet & Financial Control
- Reconcile balance sheet and control accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations and loan account management.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Support external audit processes and statutory reporting requirements.
- Commercial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly sales reporting for key customers.
- Manage monthly rebate calculations and associated customer repayments.
- Produce financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Prepare statutory and Office for National Statistics reporting.
- Business Support
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls.
- Support wider finance projects as the business continues to grow.
- Candidate Profile
- Part-Qualified ACCA/ CIMA or QBE.
- Experience preparing monthly management accounts.
- Strong reconciliation and balance sheet control experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, able to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Knowledge of CIS would be advantageous but is not essential.
