Key Responsibilities

  • Transactional Finance & Processing
  • Processing and posting purchase invoices (stock and non-stock).
  • Reconciling bank accounts, including foreign currency.
  • Posting sales ledger cash accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Processing and reconciling credit card statements and employee expenses.
  • Accounts Administration
    • Distributing purchase invoices to relevant teams and tracking approvals.
    • Managing incoming post and supporting general finance administration.
    • Filing and scanning financial documents, maintaining accurate records.
  • Month-End Support
    • Assisting with month-end processes and basic reconciliations.
    • Supporting the wider finance team with maintaining accurate records.

    Candidate Profile

    • Previous experience in a bookkeeping, finance assistant or transactional finance role.
    • Comfortable processing high volumes of invoices, expenses and reconciliations.
    • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
    • Well organised with the ability to manage routine tasks efficiently.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
    • Basic to intermediate Excel skills and experience using finance systems (e.g. Sage).
