We are partnering with a growing, purpose-led training and education provider seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function. The organisation operates within a structured, service-led environment and continues to invest in its people, systems and processes to support ongoing growth.
As Finance Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership, taking responsibility for core financial operations, reporting and controls. This is a hands-on role offering strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to play a key part in supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day decision making.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage day-to-day financial operations across the business.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and credit control.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.
- Produce VAT returns and support the preparation of management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust financial controls.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership.
- Maintain and develop financial systems, including SAGE 50.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar hands-on finance role.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Experience managing AP/AR, invoicing and credit control processes.
- Proficient in SAGE 50 or similar accounting systems.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent) preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fully office-based role (5 days per week).
