Salary: £45 – £50K p/a (negotiable for the right candidate) + Bonus potential

Start Date: ASAP (preferred mid June – early July 2025, but a degree of flexibility for notice periods).

Job Summary:

SG Training (the training arm of SG Access Solutions Ltd), provides an unparalleled learning experience for industry specific training, operating from a number of world class and unique venues, including our Grade A listed Church in Penicuik and HQ at Edinburgh International Climbing Arena, Ratho. We\’re looking for an outstanding GWO Instructor to deliver top-tier training in accordance with Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards, and to help SG further develop our training offering to the high standards of excellence with which we hold SG synonymous.

Key Responsibilities:

– Deliver engaging and compliant GWO training modules (BST, EFA, ART, etc.)

– Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism during training sessions

– Assist with curriculum development and course improvements

– Ensure all training equipment and facilities are safe and operational

– Support trainees with practical and theoretical instruction, ensuring clear understanding and competence

– Stay up to date with GWO standards and industry best practices

Requirements:

– GWO Instructor qualifications IQT and IQTX or equivalent (or willingness to gain them with support)

– Background in wind energy, emergency services, maritime, military, or industrial safety

– Excellent communication and presentation skills

– Passion for teaching and mentoring

– Valid UK driving license

– First aid or medical training background

– Experience with GWO training providers or working in offshore/onshore wind environments
