The Opportunity
SFR Recruitment Solutions are working with a leading manufacturing organisation to recruit an Operations Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, partnering closely with operational teams to drive financial performance, improve efficiencies, and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce the Operations P&L, analysing and challenging variances with operational leaders to drive performance improvement
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes
- Build and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Deliver monthly stock analysis and reporting, communicating insights to senior stakeholders
- Provide group-level reporting including consolidated sales and margin analysis
- Maintain and review standard costing, including purchase price variances and system-related adjustments
- Support stock integrity through perpetual inventory audits and annual stock counts
- Contribute to wider business projects, including ERP system integration and process improvements
- Assist with both internal and external audit requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience within a manufacturing or operational finance environment
- Strong track record of working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Experience managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong ERP system experience (Dynamics AX or similar desirable)
- Experience with financial reporting systems (HFM desirable)
- Confident user of Microsoft Office
Personal Profile
- Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Able to build effective relationships across a matrix organisation
- Analytical and detail-focused, with the ability to interpret financial data at a granular level
- Proactive, organised, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
